![]() Setup was a snap! I simply plugged the drive into the router and I instantly had a FULL 2TBs of space to facilitate network storage and backups. The same is true for the PS3 and Windows PCs. So, applications like iTunes, iPhoto, and iMovie can access this drive as local storage on the physical machine. ![]() Thanks to the UPNP server function on the router (Cisco E-4200 series) I can stream media from this drive to all of my network devices. I have a Mac (recently updated to Lion) and PC environment where this drive is used as a NAS, connected to my router via the USB interface. This is a quality drive by Seagate, and will work well depending on its implementation.
